Lagi is the cutest laser-spitting mutant-dragon ever ;w;
This last Friday Panzer Dragoon Zwei arrived in the mail, and I've been playing it in my spare time. Upon seeing the first level, I was really inspired by Lagi's colors and wanted to do something with them... and in the end just drew some fan art. This was just a quickie, but I plan on doing more serious PD fan art some time because... I love the dragons so much ;-;
And ugh, I think he looks a bit too much like a t-rex here, oops D: SORRY LAGI.

And yessss. Armonite is amazing. Too bad Lagi's final forms are, uh... interesting. Though, I guess the skydart is cute in a weird, triangle sort of way.

Though it's not to say I don't like them, brigadewing reminds me of one of these guys, and the skydart kind of looks like your traditional sheet-ghost xD

We actually have a Japanese Saturn so although I'll probably get a copy of Azel for collection purposes (which is ridiculously cheap) I won't be playing it because I lack the ability to read Japanese xD
I'm actually not much of a RPG person, so Saga isn't a big priority for me. I mean, I WANT to play it, but I might just try it out on an emulator (if I can) or make a burnt copy to play on my friends modded Saturn. Y'know, to see how much I like it before dropping $300+ on it xD

After selecting and then inverting the area around the character, I made a copy of the bg layer and erased the selection. I then put it on top of the character, and applied a gaussian blur filter. I think I played with the opacity a bit, too. It's easy-peasy ;3
Oh, and I also painted over the tail and furthest wing a bit for added depth.
