Or you mean why the Sonic people hated it? Idk, I guess they are way too patriotic about Sonic and dont accept any different style than the original one. They literally called this Tails art "Tails version of the first Sonic movie character design". Bruh, I'm not very confident in my art but even I think it's nowhere near as ugly ^^"
