I decided to draw Rigby and his brother Don after watching the Regular Show episode named after the latter. I have a good feeling that many thought Rigby was just being a whiny piece of shit during the episode. Those people frankly are either privileged with the fact they grew up with no self esteem issues, or did but are too insecure to admit they had those issues in the first place. “I grew up insecure and I turned out to be a decent person! Rigby has no excuse for being such an annoying brat!” I hate these Mr. Enter types so damn much. Rigby felt like he was just living in his brother’s shadow. His dad even preferred Don over Rigby and just saw Rigby as a screwup. My dad wasn’t exactly like that. But there was one point in time where my parents were going through a divorce when I was little and my dad took his anger and stress out on me. He claims he doesn’t remember doing that, but I remember.
