Amulet of Regeneration: The wearer will recover damage at the rate of one hit point per turn. Even if he is killed he will regenerate and live again unless treated as a Troll and destroyed as explained thereunder.
Amulet of Regeneration. Cursed: Once worn, this amulet will never willingly leave the wearer's neck without the application of a Remove Curse spell from a Cleric.
This item appears at first to be a typical Amulet of Regeneration, but after damage is fully recovered it grants a special bonus of 1 additional hit point once per turn while draining 1 point of dexterity. Additionally it increasing the weight of the wearer by 1000 GP at the rate of once per turn.
Should the wearer's dexterity be reduced to 0 the effect will by slowed by a rate of 1 turn each time the effect is triggered, until it is slowed to once per day (144 turns).

I came up with it, but it's mostly based on the terminology and effects of various cursed items and spells from early-DnD; mostly from Holmes' Basic Set and ODnD, but also some ADnD 1e and a little bit of 2e. The latter two being reworked the most to fit with the wording typical of the former. The slow-down after hitting 0 Dex is the one thing that doesn't really work like anything in those games to my knowledge/memory, but it was the best fit for how the commissioner wanted the effect work.
