Why yes, it is time for yet another Go! Go! Hypergrind: Take Two! redesign! So now it's time to get a little bit more mythical again. It's time to reintroduce to you all to Dr. Mariana Trench! A mermaid who hails from deep in the Pacific Ocean. She was born to a royal family, including a king and six other sisters. However, Mariana was never interested in being royalty, her passion was in science, which is something she would grow a lot as she got older. Mariana got frustrated with her sisters and family due to them being a lot more vapid, and having very little interest in her love of science, chemistry in particular. Because of this, she lacks funding to make her experiments progressing, until she learned about the upcoming second season of Go! Go! Hypergrind, where she tried her hardest to join in, despite not having the legs for the sport but, thanks to her tech, she's able to make up for the lack of legs with robotic legs. Her trusty wheelchair helps her move around on land, but they can transform into a pair of robotic legs which she can use to skateboard. She also wears a special collar that helps modulate her breathing so she can breathe on land rather than needing air in the ocean. She's going to show the other skaters that her brain will topple the competition.

Mariana didn't have a major overhaul compared to other skaters. First, her facial structure changed a little bit. Her skin is now an aqua color, which helps give her a more fantastical feel, being a mermaid and all. Her outfit was slightly altered, with long rubber gloves, a shell bra, and bigger frames for her glasses. Personality-wise, she's less nicer than before and now a little more smug. This is a way to showcase that she's more than happy to rub her intelligence in others' faces. As far as she's concerned, she's more than happy to brag about her intellect since she finds that none of the other skaters will be able to square off against her. Despite this being a physical competition, she's convinced that she'll be able to crush the rest thanks to her intellect, figuring out how to skate like a pro thanks to her knowledge of geometry and physics, and some of her chemicals will come in handy. So, I hope you all welcome the smug science princess with open arms!
