I left the little guy alone, but watched untill daybreak. I had left a message with animal rescue. The mom never showed up. About 6AM, I got a call from a raccoon specialist. On her advice, I place the cub in a shallow box with blankets ( I had aleady placed a reptile heating pad next to him) and waited untill the sun was full up, no mom. I ended up taking the raccoon to the rescue lady. When I got back home it was about 1PM. I had made a search earlier for other cubs, but had no idea of were the den could have been. As I was getting ready to go to bed( I had been up all night), I heard a scratching noise. It was comming from outside! It was coming from a drainpipe!!
