Not sure if I've overly mentioned it in my uploads but yeah, Chewla is a shapeshifting space being called a 'Star Child'. Chewla herself is an oddity to the species as they generally shapeshift once to look like a child version if the first sentient species they interact with. Partially the reason Chewla looks so much like her mother Coco.
Least when she shifts back she gets to keep the shape she likes.
