So brightly burning is the fire
Of Angel's bliss and Demon's ire
But should your vigilance ever tire
You'll find nought but ashes from your fire
To find true love is bliss
To not find it is a miss
Because it holds your true desire
To make your heart burn with everlasting fire
Ah, but a flame that's brightly burning
Quickly ends, you're learning
Better to bank and tame the flame
Lest you'd rather in misery remain
But misery to each his own
Like the birds that have flown
For if not misery then sorrow
That won't be there tomorrow
And yet without sorrow,
Be it today or tomorrow
No joy is there to see
For happiness and pain cannot split be
There is truth to that
And I will say it flat
Happiness and pain must be
In a relationship, and that is the key
Love heals all, 'tis truly said
Heals the heart of the wounds that have bled
Comfort is given, but not answers, nay
But are answers what you seek today?
The answer is no
For I now know
That answers are not joy
And love is not something with which you toy
It gladdens my heart to see
You're learning these so quickly
But saddens me to know the pain
I can read, simple and plain
Pain, now that is the word
That has hit me like a herd
Of rampaging boars in a street
And with my heart they used to meet
Boars? Or Elephants indeed
Through your heart like a stampede
Blazing a trail that makes you bleed
Before sowing your heart with Joy's precious seed
But this seed you speak of loose
From where does it produce
For my heart is certainly broken
Even when someone's name is spoken
Then let your love heal you
Cheer up, don't be so blue!
Go simple, take it slow
That, though, you already know
The fact I know is this
That while hurt is amiss
There is someone of whom I desire
And let me say, Jake, you light my fire
Though your grammar is deplorable
Your rhyming is not horrible
I'd have to be blind not to see
The love you hold for he
Who says grammar is needed
When love has succeeded
And trust me when I say
I am in love with Jake on this day
I see your fire burning bright
Shedding warm, beauteous light
Akin to the fire locked in mine
Kindled by a dragon divine
This dragon you speak of I happen to know
In his heart there is a glow
For a shifter, that loves his pet
Even though, they already met
The feelings our loved ones beget
When shared, are sweeter yet
When feelings are clear as crystal
A song I'll sing, golden minstrel
You sing a song of joy and pleasure
But yet it hasn't begun to measure
The love I hold in my heart
That will make sure, me and my love, never part
Never say never, for that's tempting fate
Words not for mortals to use - just wait
Stay together only as long as you can
And smile, be happy, while he is your man
Though what is fate but a puddle in my hand
When I look and see, a heavenly band
Between me and my love that shall never bend
And this unfortunately, is where this battle shall end
Of Angel's bliss and Demon's ire
But should your vigilance ever tire
You'll find nought but ashes from your fire
To find true love is bliss
To not find it is a miss
Because it holds your true desire
To make your heart burn with everlasting fire
