Now I can show some of the works I made to order for the comic book project on "The Universe of the First Guardians". The comic tells about superheroes from Earth, and about many other alien heroes and villains. For almost a year now I have been drawing a line art to the pages of a comic book. Another artist is engaged in filling color and painting pages. I come up with angles, frames and poses on my own. The writer-client gives me a technical task describing what is happening in the frame, giving me some freedom. The location of the poses of the characters and the setting of the composition of the frame, I do it myself.
I like this species, very charismatic guys. Initially, their heads looked different. But the writer made an order for me to come up with new ones. So I got 6 nationalities with their own characteristics. I made male and female versions. I'll be able to show them later, when they give me permission.
And now you can see the face that I came up with, I also drew this page entirely. It was an interesting experience for me. It reminds me of the ink drawings in Christopher Hart's drawing manual. Yes, it was on his books that I studied when I was a teenager)
