((Well, it has been a while since I've posted anything. Life just smashes into you sometimes. Anyway, here are my ogers. Finally something that isn't "human"... though... it is "humanoid."
The Empire used to be able to have Ogers as a choice... which it lost. Luckily for me, I could use them as generic Ogers for a Dogs of War army... which I did... and then found out I couldn't do that anymore. Still... I kinda like how they look.
Anyway, the flash washes out a bit of the detail. I didn't want them to look shiney, as they're Ogers. They're lucky to have pants on. So, I just did a dark-wash on the armor, to give it that oily, dirty, black look. I used the odd-orange-brown skin-tone to give them a bit of a fantasy feel. I think they came out alright. Being metal, they have a decent amount of detail in them... and boy are they heavy. Anyway, when I did feild them as Dogs of War generic-mercenary ogers, I'd just have them with a dual-handed weapon, and the standard bearer. That way I could say "Hulk Smash" a lot, when I had them charge... um.. yeah... that's my lame attempt at humor.
Anyway, for the six of you that actually visit reguarly, there you go. Ogers.))

I remember rolling up two PCs for a D&D adventure years ago, a gnome and an orc I played kind of like Timon and Pumbaa:
Ebil d00d - "... and that's my eeevil master plan!"
Holthis - "Hmn, nnnyes. Arg?"
Arg - "ARG!"
Holthis - "We have a problem."
Arg - "ARG FIX!!"
Anywho, your ogres are damn imposing, Paetricia. I like their ogrey skin.

The skin color and the armor the champ is wearing make me think these are wild Mongolian ogres. Which is ironically appropriate considering what GW has made of the ogres now. Never seen red eyes on them before. Interesting... never thought of trying that on a more humanish figure rather than orcs or skaven.
