This makes me really angry. Look closely at the picture and you'll see why. Are you looking? Do you see it? This young bird (emphasis on young, it doesn't even have adult feathers yet) is missing a foot. No it isn't an optical illusion, it really is gone, no foot. This happens because people can't handle picking up their beach trash. The bird seems to be doing just fine for now, but how long will it be before he is picked off by a predator? Poor little dude walked with a pitiful limp, with every step he took landing on his little stump.
