Brown Pelican - Closeup

Different pelican? This one was sitting on the railing of the pier, just chilling. I talk to birds when I am photographing this close to them, and this guy earned me the name "bird whisperer" from the fisherman that were near me. Oh well, I guess I will take that as a compliment :)

Sorry. I kinda considered Pelecans usualy as interesting looking creatures but never seen their face and eyes up close. I remember seeing one pelecan walking along a peer, walk right up along side a fisherman, and then just sit down and tuck his head back and sleep. Was kinda cute.
