As long as I still have K-O the Kangaroo with me for the time being (at least until they finish renovating the baseball stadium before the season opens later next month), I figured I should have K-O watch another kangaroo cartoon! This time, it's the 1950 Looney Tunes short "Bushy Hare," starring Bugs Bunny! It involves Bugs accidentally finding himself with an expectant mother kangaroo that mistakes him for her joey, and he has to deal with a stereotypical native Australian hunter! This is why after Nickelodeon stopped running "Looney Tunes" shorts in 1999 (in a censored form), this cartoon was never seen again on TV until last year, when MeTV showed it uncut during one of their Saturday morning blocks! It's also available on DVD, but is not currently streaming on HBO Max or the Boomerang app. Too bad, because it's a fun Kangaroo Kartoon!
