The newest of my 'Garden Party Ladies' series.
I had the most trouble finishing this piece. I am trying out new colored paper ('cuz I want the white to stand out the way it does NOT on white bristol board) and when I run it thru the copier, it turns out there are two sides...and the textured side is the one I should NOT use. I made another copy, but still have problems with the copier's toner flaking off in the black areas. I had to go over it over and over again with markers to get it to stay black.
AND, my electric pencil sharpener is giving me the flux. It is now sharpening my pencils unevenly, so that the point is always up against a piece of wood...so I used up all of one pencil (the white) re-sharpening over and over.
I'm getting a new sharpener tomorrow. Life's too short to bother with tools that don't work right.

Not the FLUX!!
We don't use them fancy thangs like 'lectric sharpeners around these parts. Got me one o' them little ideependant nekkid manual thangs - makes shavin's all over the place.
But seriously, I wonder if that might not be a bad investment. Does it help cut down on the painful "just broke off during the sharpening process" issue or no?
In any case, you still get effects with prismas that I can only dream about. She's lovely!
