The Ukraine situation was something I never thought I would see, understand that my family was stationed in Germany for 3 years then another 6 to be part of a force to prevent this but we were sent home as things seemed to be getting better until Trump's election with Russian help gave Putin a tool to weaken NATO and Ukraine ahead of getting what he wanted all along but did not say aloud. Well he misjudged and I wish him woe. While in Germany I made friends in my high school years with several German families whose grandparents lived through the war and we discussed how this country I loved dearly for their work ethic, scientific and engineering prowess and political attitudes could be swayed by a dictator only to see tyranny come to life in the US. I hope we can shake it.
