So something I used to really like doing was drawing creepy monster creatures. So I figured I'd make this sorta "uncanny valley" monster

This creature is commonly referred to as a "Stalker". A creature of folk lore and urban legend, the Stalker is a monster which mimics the human form. Though not perfect, it resembles a human closely enough to give most a pause when spotting it in the dark.

They prefer dark habitats, such as caves or abandoned buildings. They are carnivorous and will eat anything they can catch. Though they are particularly fond of hunting humans, even using their skin as leather and bones for tools. Stalkers are social creatures, meaning if you see one there is likely a den of them somewhere nearby.

Stalkers stand typically anywhere between 5-7 feet tall, their long and spindly arms touching the ground even when standing full height. Their neck is long, and has articulation much like that of a serpent. Instead of a typical mouth for eating, Stalkers house a proboscis in their mouth which stabs the prey, injecting acids so they can then slurp the meat juice out. Leaving behind a sack of flesh and bone.
