That's impressive all by itself but the quality of the work is nothing less than WOW!!

My ONLY issue is lack of desert scenes but that's a minor quibble. Everything is fantastic.

Oh for sure. I definitely did this to have a link to send when someone tells me it's talent. I know they mean well, but if they also have an interest in art but think they "don't have the talent", I want to be able to show them exactly what it takes. Everyone can do this and learn.

Looks like something Guild Wars 2 or some other fantasy RPG would have as a map loading screen. Very beautifully done!

Albert Bierstadt's Among the Sierra Nevada is one of my favorite paintings of all time, you captured his sense of light and grandeur perfectly

It is lowkey inspiring me to do more studies of Hudson River school paintings,
they are the perfect paintings to try to understand the "grand fantasy" aesthetic.

Yeah I definitely saved the best for last. But I did a few more by Bierstadt along the way. He's just too good.

What was the most valuable lesson of those 100 days? If you can/want, how did you best learn/correct your mistake(s)?

I still need to see in practice how much all this helped, but I was hoping to plant the seeds of good ideas in my mind so that I'm faster at sketching and coming up with ideas. I noticed that I gravitate towards darker values and all these, even the dark moody ones are actually quite bright, so I'll be staying away from the black in general and save those very dark values for important focal points that need high contrast. But in general I think this was a small but important step towards becoming very good.
