Don't think its really unprofessional, the feet- and handpaws are the first thing that wear on a fursuit.
If using a slightly different color fur that is more sturdy adds to the lifespan, you can argue on what is better...
I have to say that it's more noticable in pictures than in real life.
And I'm still getting another pair of feetpaws and probably a pair of handpaws too, I might gonna let those made in the same white as the body =)
