Wolf: Aaaaaahhhh
Red: *laughs* why are you such a weirdo?
*note: the putting their mouths over other mouths and maw thing? wolves does this behavior to their pack mates, and sometimes with humans too. Does anyone know why they do this?
As someone mentioned: “ Most snout actions are part of snout tenderness. Dogs nibble and lick each other. You see this behavior primarily between bonding partners. Dogs that live together, like each other or between dog friends.”
Which makes sense for feral canines, since they lack the expressive limbs or opposable thumbs, animals that lack these kind of limbs use other means of expressing touch and expression.
**Note: please ask for consent with your partner before engaging in these kind of activity, it is rather alarming otherwise**
