Kai'Nuk, the world where the Mikto live in, is rich and diverse, just as our own! I wanted to create a piece showing some of their different traits, varying their species, age and gender. I may make a part 2 later.
I'll add a brief description of the characters depicted here, some of them are characters I've developed further, and others are more like "NPCs". ^^ Enjoy!!

Vasir
Species: Mikto Nayak (Common Canine)
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Age: 67
Occupation: Retired combat veteran, Owns an Antique shop
Former soldier, who saw combat on a distant conflict between kingdoms. He's stern and serious and has a lot of appreciation of history, insisting nothing should ever be forgoten. During his late 40s, he set up an antique shop, for trade and sale. He posseses a Gük energy capable of telekinesis on a small scale, he mostly uses it to fetch a spoon in case his tea needs stiring.

Yara
Species: Mikto Kui'lok (Feline)
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 43
Occupation: On board ship cook
Yara used to work as a cook at a seafood restaurant near the coast. She loved her job, but was put under a lot of pressure by her boss to serve all the customers, one day she snapped and left the place. She ended up joining a pirate crew.

Azbara
Species: Mikto Grar'ik (Canine Scandinavian)
Gender: Male (He/Him)}
Age: 25
Occupation: Nomad Traveler
Always moving from place to place, Azbara travels around the world, surviving by taking small jobs on the places he stays at. He met Yatziri in one of his travels, and since then he visists her often, bringing souvenirs and telling stories of the places and people he's met.


Danka
Species: Mikto Nayak (Common Canine)
Gender: Female (She/They)
Age: 32
Occupation: Engineer, specialized on steam engines.
Danka is a very smart and talented engineer, always looking for efficiency. She's very passionate about her work and specializes on steam engines. She is slightly accident prone though, having things blowing up on her face often when she tries to experiment.


Ian Baros
Species: Mikto Yurk'nik (Canine Oriental)
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Age: 19
Occupation: Swordsman on a pirate ship
Growing up an orphan, the prospects of Ian's future never seemed very bright to him. He trained himself on the art of the sword, talking to pirates he met on bars. Once on of them invited him to join their crew, and after that he found a place of beloning. He's extroverted but a little awkward and gets teased on by his crewmates in a friendly way.


Adrien Deveraux
Species: Mikto Hik'ok (Avian)
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Age: 48
Occupation: Former Pirate, Warrior
Adopted child of a pirate ship captain, Adrien was a very big avian Mikto with a loud voice and a slightly show off personality. He used to be very impulsive and thinking himself invincible, constantly make rash decisions that would put him in danger. He grew out of it with time, after abandoning piracy he now enjoys a peaceful life on a northern coast village.


Yatziri
Species: Mikto Kui'lok/Hik'ok (Mixed feline/avian)
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 21
Occupation: Spirit guide
Born blind, Yatziri ended up developing her other senses, including a deep conection with the spirits, the Kai'na. Her horns grew larger as she started training her spiritual side further. She uses her Gük to "see" her suroundings, basically sensing the natural energy of the enviroment around her. She has a cheerful carefree personality, and is known for making terrible jokes and puns that make people facepalm.


Kin
Species: Mikto Kui'lok (Feline)
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Age: 60
Occupation: Village Chief
Kin is a very traditional man, valuing his village's history and always making sure the people around him have the best he can give. Sadly, he can be very stubborn and afraid of change, having a few clashes with his youngest daughter because of it.


Elena Midford
Species: Mikto Grar'ik (Canine Scandinavian)
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 55
Occupation: Housewife
Elena was born into a vert rich family and was sent into an arranged marriage on her early 20s. Her husband owned a trading company, and together had a child called Raymond. Elena always took meticulous care on her appearance, and wore very expensive jewlery. After being widowed, she retired and sometimes helps her son manage the company he inherited.


Manaaki
Species: Mikto Koru-Hetu (Aquatic Islander)
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Age: 35
Occupation: Guardian and warrior
Manaaki is a trained warrior and very respected of his village. He protects them, alongside his colleages, from invasive strangers and pirates. He's an excellent swimmer and despite his intimidating exterior, he's gentle and loves to spend time with his children.


Layla Hills
Species: Mikto Nayak (Common Canine)
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 8
Occupation: Schoolgirl
Layla is your normal 8 year old girl, she enjoys collecting flowers and having tea parties with her dolls. She was born with a malformation on her horns, causing them to be fused together, but given how they still have a double root, she is not impaired at all and will develop her Gük normally.


Jetamio
Species: Mikto Grar'ik (Scandinavian Canine)
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 86
Occupation: Healer
During the course of her life, Jetamio has seen many things. She grew up a fisherman (woman?) but later in life, she found passion in helping those who need it the most. She became a very good and trustworthy healer, helping many wounded across her town and even bringing new lives to the world.
