I saw the thing about The Hub, randomly like hours before it was going on. I saw a promo and this new cartoon for My Little Pony. It looked interesting, but never could get around to seeing it. Thanks to  technicolorpie I found the Youtube videos.

By the Gods, I'm in love with this show. The first part was so cool, and after seeing Nightmare Moon, I wanted to have my own evil little Pony. So I created Star Shadows. The little pic, is him when he was StarLight.

Story: Was an orphan named StarLight, and grew up loving the Stars. Princess Celestia learned of him, and gifted him wings to sore the Night skies, and a horn to wield the magick to control the stars and keep them from unleashing Nightmare Moon. He had one true friend, who told him stories as he did his duties art night. A little spotted skunk named Spottytale.

Years pasts, and he felt it unfair not many shared int he beauty of the night sky, and began to beg Celestia to extend the night so more would be awake to see the show he put on. She refused because it was unfair to the day, and would create unbalance. So denied, he found his way to the Forbidden Library, and learned the Forbidden arts of magick, so he may do what Celestia would not. He became corrupted by his desires and turned from a yellow colt, with starlight mane, to a midnight blue, with a mane of shadows. Becoming StarShadows.

When he stopped the rising sun, Celestia confronted him, but he stated, it was only for a few hours, but she wouldn't accept it, after explaining it, and saying no, so removed his powers, and imprisoned him in the "Harmony Lost Hold" Where he'd remain, without any powers, till the day Nightmare Moon returned.
