This is the armor of the special unit of which Hueli, Nicole (and her sister too) and Elishevara are part.
It took a lot of work, more than a month, because there are a lot of elements.
The first layer, the one that touches the skin, is a waterproof and presurized suit made of D3O. It can withstand impacts, such as a second-story fall, stop standard 9mm bullets and resist knives.
It all depends of course on the force of the impact but these are the standard capabilities of the suit.
It is malleable and has a texture similar to latex, just as soft and stretchy but also very resistant. It is a non-Newtonian material, which means that it does not respect the laws of physics, acting as a liquid and as a solid at the same time.
It can also be resistant thanks to hexagonal graphite plates of one millimeter thick fixed on Kevlar. The hexagonal shape allows the suit to be flexible but not to let anything through (or almost). The Kevlar adds an additional protection. On the main areas of the suit, arms, legs, body trunk, head, back and crotch, are technological components that allow to be autonomous on the pressurization and temperature. The technological components are of course infinitely small so as not to interfere but are also electronically hardened to resist malfunctions and degradations caused by electromagnetic and nuclear radiations An EMP will therefore do no damage, or much less than if the components were not resistant.
On top of the suit are titanium plates, 5cm thick, which are distributed on some limbs of the suit so as not to impede movement.
These plates are self-attached to each other.
For the forearm, the plate goes around the forearm. For the thigh, it's the same. The calves too. The biceps also. For the gloves it's different. There is a plate above, 3cm, but it is fixed on the glove, the latter being removable and filled with sensitive sensor for a perfect grip, as if there was nothing between the skin and the outside.
The shoulder protectors are fixed with a system of fasteners connected to the biceps armor plates, so if the biceps plates are damaged, the shoulder protectors will be too.
The armor plates are therefore fixed on the middle of the chest to protect the heart as well as possible, and go down to the crotch. On the belly, there too we cannot put hard plates because it would block the diaphragm so the plates are floating and put on each other, and smaller. They are fixed on the armor via screws and magnets. The magnet is strong enough to hold the plates but has no attraction on the outside.
The armor of the chest is joined in the back to protect it at the level of the shoulder blades and the spine. In contrast to the belly, the spine can be protected with much harder and fixed plates than on the belly. These plates are fixed there too by a system of screws and magnets, a little more powerful to protect the spine better.
For the crotch it is a titanium plate also but thinner, of 3cm, which protects the intimacy and the anus to reach the bottom of the spine.
There are also protections on the shins which are also fixed between them, as for the arms, and boots which are completely covered so as not to be injured under the arch of the foot. Sensory sensors are also underneath, as for the gloves, to impede the touch as little as possible.
A full face helmet with a large visor completes the armor. The helmet is of course made of the same metal, 3cm thick and packed with technology. It is the helmet that facilitates the use of the armor by automatically managing certain things, such as displaying on the visor everything that the armor contains, undergoes etc.
The visor is also very special because it is made of materials for space: alumino-silicate. A lot of data are displayed on the visor but nobody from outside can see them. Moreover the visor has a function to contrast with very bright, blinding lights and complete darkness.
It is on this interface that the hand and foot sensors, the armor status, the body areas and also the received impacts and the suit status are displayed.
Thanks to the abilities of Hueli and the girls, wearing the armor and fighting with it is not a big deal.
Titanium only increases the total bone mass of a body by 30%, and each suit and armor is created specifically for one of them
So Hueli only carries 30% more weight, which with her physical abilities is nothing at all.
To remove the armor plates, change them, or the suit, all this can be done on the spot without the need of assistance. However, in case of big damage or breakage, a robot will have to be called in.
However, in case of big damage or breakage, machines will have to be used.
This work is an additional touch to my universe that I am slowly putting in place.
