SCP personnel card (2)
Round two of these silly things. This time I drew the portrait myself, but I'm not quite happy with it. I may change it in the future when I get around to it.
One thing I forgot to mention the first time is that I also used the color at the top of the card to designate clearance level. Now that I'm looking at it again the orange I picked isn't great, but that's what I get for trying to use a heat-based system for clearance levels. The red of Strelok's access card designates her level 4 clearance, and Ellis' orange card means she has level 3. I miiiight have also stolen the colors from the Anomaly Classification System (ACS) that user Woedenaz made as a collaborative effort to breathe some life into the site, so you can probably guess what the other colors are for levels 2-0. I've also made a bar for 05 and ethics committee-level personnel, but I'm not sure when I'll ever get around to drawing portraits for those folks.
It's occurred to me that since Ellis and Strelok are from a lore perspective from different countries (Ellis is from America, and Strelok is Russian) that I should have set up their keycards to be from different sites, but that's what I get for being lazy. I've learned a lot about the SCP foundation in the last couple months so I'll add that to the list of Things Ellis Is Too Lazy To Do So She Is Writing Them Down For Later. It is a long list. What's on the list for this specifically is:
-adding small details to make it look more like a keycard, like an arrow to indicate direction of swiping at a terminal
-adding detail for a chip because those are more modern than swipe terminals
-introducing gradients for added detail
-adding the names of the clearance level next to the level itself to fill in blank space (e.g level 4 (top secret) or level 3 (secret))
-anything else you think would look cool!
