Showing how I knit (knitted?) an otter's head from sketch, to digital color, to pattern, to finished product. The pattern is a pixellated and slightly stretched version of the colored version. Each knit is longer than it is tall, so I had to guestimate how much to stretch the pattern in order to compensate. As you can see, the finished version is still slightly squished.

I contemplated knitting an entire fursuit this way once, but this alone took me weeks.
