dnapalmhead was one of my main inspirations to wanna do macro content, heck, furry content in general, and I am seriously excited that he's come back to furaffinity.

Kinda same here. It was his art that made me discover the very existence of the macro furry community.
If it weren't for him, I wouldn't had ever met the nice people I've met, nor would've I even discovered this site in the first place.
And I don't know why, but I really like that tumbleweed here.
