Commentary for April 20, 2022:

You ever wake up and have a sudden idea that you’d never even thought of before but you are absolutely certain you can pull off? Yeah, that was my thought process before doing this page. The script did not call for anything more complex than the Freedom Fighters debriefing with Ballista fresh off the shuttle and Eon staring out from the castle rampart at dawn. I could have accomplished these with just regular sprite backgrounds, but instead I chose to try my hand at using existing 3D models I’d already made to make up part of the scenes. This way I could create the illusion of greater depth to the scenes. I think it worked out okay here, too. I’m not saying I’ll use this method all the time, but I may use it more often going forwards.
