I recently visited the Wichita Art Museum where they were displaying a special exhibit of Art Deco pieces. I couldn’t resist shooting photographs of some of the shinier items.
I just had to take a selfie of sorts using this chrome plated Samovar. It was manufactured around 1938 by the Chase Brass and Copper Company of Waterbury, Connecticut and designed by Walter von Nessen. I’ll be posting a follow-up to this photo in a week or so.
