MALAKAS Project - Wooyeong Baegho
If you wish to know about the MALAKAS Project, go to Timothy Soro's entry here for more info about the project.
NOTE: Wooyeong's last name Baegho (White Tiger in Korean) is made up by me as Wooy never has a last name to begin with.
Wooyeong was yet another amateur boxer, but with a bigger experience than his fellow boxer Dimas Dwi M. Hailing from South Korea, a slightly overweight white tiger had two boxing years of beating down many opponents with a dozen losses, as well as notable loss of fat and first buildup of muscles, but then moved into the United States in order to improve his boxing career, where he did have two matches with Dimas, ending up in the white tiger's victory. Interestingly trivial, Wooyeong's species was so bizarre to match his home background, that any American he came across would mistake him for an Indian or a Bengal boxer. However, he had lived in the US quite long enough to develop his desire for more muscles, not just from his muscular opponents in US matches, but also through online muscle growth artworks.
In March 2021, Wooyeong heard a word about the MALAKAS Project through Dimas, but was hesitant to join until he saw very noticeable changes in Dimas just a few months later. The sight of Dimas that bigger and more muscular also heightened the white tiger's love for muscles, up to the point that he couldn't continue his training for the next boxing match. Thankfully though the said boxing match would come in several months, so Dimas helped Wooyeong sign up for the MALAKAS Project.
A week later, Wooyeong arrived at the mountain base, set up for the said project, where he would meet the newly assigned instructor Simon Nightwolffe, whose canine appearance reminded the white tiger of some young famous Kazakh singer he knew about. Furthermore, they both enjoyed dozens of Kazakh pop songs. Besides that, Simon was noted to be strict in training and straight to the point.
Throughout his entire stay in the mountain, Wooyeong had unveiled his childhood addiction to fireworks, in which he could use for both entertainment and weaponry, although some types of typeworks were much harder to control than RPG launchers. However, he also had a thought of firing multiple fireworks like a rocket artillery, or in this case a Hwacha, the Korean wooden cart that fires weaker yet more numerous rockets which then scatter into a wider area. Wooyeong's decently-sized hand-made Hwacha was then put to the test with fireworks thrice, whose cluster attacks turned out to be more devastating and more explosive that one with non-explosive, penetrative rockets.
By the time the beaver empire of Brisa Creek enroached too close to the mountain base, many Soldiers, Super Soldiers and Juggernauts quickly gathered up to oppose the invading beaver army. Wooyeong took part as well, mostly through the use of the same Hwacha stationed at the watchtower, but veteran beavers were smart enough to avoid any cluster attacks from his Hwacha. So Christopher North quickly came up with the idea of translating the Hwacha into a more compact weapon nicknamed 'Festival Cannon', a box-like bazooka that fires up to 40 rocket fireworks through four holes. The Festival Cannon proved to be more effective against heavier beaver army units, although Wooyeong prefered the traditional Hwacha on occasion.
Besides that and his fascination in fireworks, most of Wooyeong's stay was pretty standard. A three weeks after the failed invasion of Brisa Creek and another week after gaining the temporary Juggernaut ability, Wooyeong was honorably discharged. However, he was also in a worry whether his new form would affect future results in the next drug test, pretty much in the same case as Dimas.
