The pukebonnet was an experiment color when BNSF was trying to come up with a new paint scheme when they first merged. It is a good thing they went with Pumpkin mixed with all the family roads who make up them.
Give the pukebonnet credit because this unit now in a way is very popular item with us now. Love it or hate it, it got popular by what it is and the fact it is the only one of it's kind on BNSF

only four, but they were SD60MACs. BN, EMD, and a German engineering company did a bunch of testing on coal drags with them before the SD70MAC was given the green light.
