Last time I saw a picture of it was down near Smithers Lake Texas coal plant a couple years ago. Only Santa Fe didn't have at least one 60m on their roster

They all are and as a matter of fact these SD60Ms also had the evergreen and creme scheme which BN tried which was the first version of the executive scheme for coal service.

The pukebonnet was an experiment color when BNSF was trying to come up with a new paint scheme when they first merged. It is a good thing they went with Pumpkin mixed with all the family roads who make up them.

Give the pukebonnet credit because this unit now in a way is very popular item with us now. Love it or hate it, it got popular by what it is and the fact it is the only one of it's kind on BNSF

SD60's were Cacade Green, the SD70MAC's were the Executive colors (AKA the cream and forest green) to distinguish them from the regular DC-circut fleet.

I could of sworn they were 60Ms that BN was testing the evergreen and cream on.

only four, but they were SD60MACs. BN, EMD, and a German engineering company did a bunch of testing on coal drags with them before the SD70MAC was given the green light.

It didn't take them long to phase out the paint either.

If you can find one of these good luck because I think all of them have been repainted into BN cascade green which makes them also one of a kind for their time

they didn't repaint them, they sold them back to EMD in the late 90's.
