NAME: Guntaro Swaile
ETHNICITY: Mobile Suit/Gundam
SEX: Male
OCCUPATION: Preschool Student, second year
A second-year student at Knothole Preschool, Guntaro Swaile is a Gundam from Port Turquoise, South Island. This warm and optimistic Mobile Suit is one of the first friends Sonic makes after joining Class 1, and helps the shy Hedgehog open up to bonding with his other classmates.
While Mobile Suits are nonliving military hardware in some realities, they are a sentient Mobian race in this timeline. This is more than a reboot, it also overlaps with an SD Gundam series (partially) of my own creation.
For those not in the know, SD Gundam is a comedic spin-off of its gritty namesake. They're sillier and the MS are people who can eat, age, have feelings, and other stuff, just as they do in my series. Guntaro, here, was conceived as a blend of the RX-78-2 Gundam from the original series and an RX-79[G] mass-production unit from The 08th MS Team.
And don't worry about his beam sabers and vulcans, a Mobile Suit's defensive systems don't become active until it hits puberty.
