Chirp when annoyed, huh? Oh, she was seeing The Incredible Cat? Oh, Lord, we haven't Chipmunks down here!
But, we do have this:

and the original model... the Sciurus granatensis, the Nueva Granada squirrel (Nueva Granada, The New Granada, was the name by which our country and neighbor territories were during the Spanich colonization)
They are really big squirrels, easily 10-15% bigger than a red squirrel. Though in the picture it's not so easily seen, their tails have a red-orange wide band more or less at nid-length.
