Thanks! I was inspired by :loupgarou: His renditions of fu dogs are exquisite! Fu dogs or guardian lions are usually seen as pairs of stone sculptures displayed on both sides of a Chinese building's gate or entrance. The geometric sytlization of the fur is not originally seen in these sculptures but rather originated from the circular swirls of fur in them. Another excellent artist who uses the stylization more honest to the sculptures is :missmonster: in deviantart.com .

I love fu dogs; I collect them! No wonder I love this piece so much (well, that and your wonderful work with line and color and anatomy). :)
