Freckles and Frost are two of a triple team. They have a sister named Flute who is also a superhero. The original anthro designs are from a commission I bought years back on DeviantArt.

This story concept started as a Miraculous Ladybug AU lol
Instead it'll be rather different. The enemy will be the Kitties of Mayhem (a very old story concept of mine being reborn!) and the superheroes will have something that will let them turn from their normal human forms to anthro dogs with powers/incredible skills.
I imagine I'll tie in the title of the book that features the litter that I have published already "The Butterfly Gods" but I'm not sure how that will tie in just yet.
That said, I am thinking that the plot line will be of this litter being unable to turn to a human form and having never had one. The original owner of their ability/item fell in love with the greater being that has some control or source of the powers or something? That human/hero and that source/entity give up their essences to become the litter of the anthro superheroes.
The three pups also have a PowerPuff Girl vibe in that they fight crime with their super powers from a young age, but when they are young adults they are burnt out and feel so... jaded and detached from their lives, espeically as heroes.

Ideally the other characters from the book will come into play too. I am particularly inclined to do a similar plotline to the book that involves Freckles and her son, Fluke/Foxworthy. Toby may play a similar role to his book counterpart as well.
