This was basically my very first time mixing something live in Ableton, so yes, it's very, very rough at certain places. I'd appreciate some tips if you have them.
Basically what I wanted to do with this piece was throw some loops into Ableton and start messing with the knobs immediately so I could start practicing for an upcoming music festival I'd like to perform at. Of course, it's no fun just twiddling with dials; I had to put what I had learned to the test. This is the result of that test. I give myself a C. Minus.
This is a cover/re-arrangement of Elements, the opener to Lemon Jelly's second album, Lost Horizons.
I played and recorded all of the loops myself, with the exception of the trumpet, which my friend did. And of course, all of the mixing was done live by me.

Oh wow, Whisper is a pretty old project, at least by my standards, haha...
Whisper was actually scrapped a little while back, but it does live on through another project I've been working on, under a different name. I'm hoping it'll be done before the end of Spring next year. I've got all of the songs panned out for it--at this point it's all a matter of finishing them up, designing the packaging (there are no plans for a digital release as of now), and figuring out an effective way of selling them.
I'm assuming the song you're referring to is Tuesday Night. Rest assured that that one will be on the new EP.
