Welp, it's finally happened. I got myself a protogen. More to the point, I got myself an adopt of a protogen. Normally, I wouldn't participate in adopts since I tend to do my own stunts, and that most people make adopts auctions thereby grossly inflating their price, but when  miraoff put out a batch of set-price protogen adopts and saw this madlad had two sets of ears, there was only one thing I could see them doing, and that's being a kickass musician.

Specifically, I see Toxiq as a DJ doing live performances with electronic props and equipment like those of Deadmau5 and Nigel Stanford. For their accessories, the headphones would be used with the lower set of ears to monitor the music, while the upper set would have the earbuds so they can listen to and communicate with any backstage technical crew or be on a video call while in a recording studio.

In addition to being both my first adopted character and my first protogen, Toxiq is also the first character of mine with explicit nonbinary pronouns. I'm not too picky about any of my OCs' sexualities and/or pronouns - I could've easily defaulted Toxiq to 'he/him' - but I did this because I figured I'd be getting more adult commissions of them and would like to have that kind of canonical flexibility. Either way, Toxiq probably wouldn't be offended if you used any pronouns besides their preference. They are, after all, very much nonbinary and gender-fluid.

Maybe expect them in a short story one of these days? :3c
