But before we get into that. Only last thing.

Their story:
The Black Raspberry Rose, The Golden Rose even or Blackberry Breeze
Himbree/Himbeere
Is a Grand Enchanter and Duchen(they've decided this is an acceptable gender neutral term for Duchess) of a land I have yet to name. They specialize in natural transformation magics, healing and body modification.
They wield a Scepter as their arcane focus to facilitate this.
When not managing their Duchy and aiding in many a client with gender quandaries that need help (a field they have studied for and become certified in mind you). They are roaming the countryside as Rural Legend/Folkloric Entity know simply as 'The Briar Knight' (because the noble house coat is a black background with a golden rose bedded by a golden thorn hedge).

While in this form Beere commits random acts of chivalry or brings death to those that thinking themselves outside the law. Usually this is threw extortion of the people or by being so glutted on wealth they've managed to pay off the local government to overlook their blatant evil.

One would think baring the same coat of arms as the residing noble house would be a cause for concern or rather obviously outing their identity. And at first it was, people thought the Briar Knight was some elite agent of the Duchen. But the Noble House has come forwards to deny any alignment of personal investment or decision of actions in line with that of the living myth. And so now people assume that the Knight simply thinks themselves or wishes to present themselves as an agent of justice, acting in the government's stead where the larger power cannot move. And it is a personal quest by this one individual. They would be right about that.

Himbeere is quite fair to their people and has personally financed all the equipment they use in these extremely frolics. So it does seems a rather personal investment from the Grand Enchanter. (edited)

To Himbeere their actions are a double-edged sword. If they were ever caught, they would be interrogated viciously for both murder and impersonating the Duchen. However perhaps after convincing their captors of their authenticity they would be let go. It is very likely because the people Love their Duchen. However if these captors are feeling especially lawful neutral they may as well just have Himbeere tired for murder Anyway.

....they haven't been caught Yet. So Himbeere is going to keep doing what they are doing, knowing that though they would like to, they cannot stamp out ALL corruption in such a large area. But that if they cull the larger outlets maybe they keep the smaller ones to their more petty day to day living crimes.

However it is without a doubt, that someday one of the bigger groups Will prepare for this culling. And Himbeere won't be able to handle them...

This of course leads to the part where their hidden body guard that we Know is tailing Himbeere threw all this craziness comes in and finishes off the rest of the assailants. But by this time Himbeere's been found by that one civi that just Lives off the beaten path. Said Civi discovers the Briar Knights secret. Is sworn to secrecy by the Body Guard that Breaks in looking for their Duchen- I mean the Briar Night- . Then Drama happens over the keeping of forbidden knowledge.
All three of them fall in love. The civi is finally allowed to tell Himbeere. Everyone winds up in a healthy poly and Beere is still a Wild Unicorn doing crazy things for the good of the people.
