'Calm down, Zeryl. You got this! It's just a matter of following the right steps!' Zeryl thought anxiously in her head, frantically pressing buttons, tossing switches, and turning valves accordingly to what she could remember from the operating manuals. A warrant officer with a specialization in navigation like her should be able to operate a coil railgun with no issues! Unfortunately for poor Zeryl, she didn't memorise the steps hard enough and is currently at the mercy of Lieutenant Yskra who is not only her strict supervisor but also her love interest. Failing to pass this examination would not only mean failure of maintaining her rank but also disappointing the yellow-faced raptor! She prays to the aquatic Gods that her memory won't fail her now and through some miracle, she would pass just barely above the standard.
I still stressed that this is perhaps the most amazing artwork ever and that I am truly grateful to have my character, Zeryl to be included in this insanely top-quality and incredible YCH artwork that is made by the amazing
darbaras. This YCH is part of their Odraani lore which has really a lot of amazing world-building stuff!
Honestly, its really the most flattering gift ever and I cannot, cannot thank my wonderful friend
balefirephoenix enough for giving me such an opportunity. I really hope one day I can return the favour to him in a form of another amazing artwork to come.
