Story: Mario was returning home from a weekend vacation in Isle Delfino when he discovered that the toads are being attacked by Awoofies, common minions of the Beast Pack. As he runs through the rampage, he saw Princess Peach being surrounded by Awoofies along with the larger and savage variants, the Primal Awoofies. Just as Mario was about to come to her rescue, he was caged up by birds and carried out of the castle. The last thing Mario sees was the Awoofies lunging themselves toward the princess before being carried away from the Mushroom Kingdom.
