This was going to be a poster but it's not finished, it may end up just a concept picture for the time being.
This is for a Halloween basic special idea I had for Zoogville.
Titled of this story is "Zoogville: The Book of Horrors" (working title)
The plot is this;
Zaltag find a book that has no text on the cover and has scratch markings on it, he decides to take it home and read it.
When ever he reads it the story come to life in many forms that are horrific and terrorize his frenids and or other zoogs.
Theses haunting’s disappear when ever Zaltag stops reading or closes the book of couers nobody not even Zaltag knows this until latter.
Zaltag stopped reading it but the book won’t close and the hauntings become more real and more threating by the minute now Zaltag and his friends must find a way to stop this scary chaos and close the book for good.
Zaltag here took two hours to color in Artrage, I kept eraseing and adding things like the fur details.
Then using the air brush tool in Artrage to do the shading a highlight the smoke took twenty minute to do.

Your pic is superb; Zaltag and Slasher are my favorite characters from your universe. I find Zaltag a very sweet creature, really easy to go off with.
Regarding the premise of the book, is absolutely spine-chilling! Not since the days of Creepy had I seen something like that! "Dark Deeds" was the title of the story, if I remember correctly, but its premise (a book whose blank pages fill with the demise of each of its previous owners) pales before this. Congratulations!
