Well, only Bau and Karl paid with their souls, but not Pit. Eventually he was unintentionally dragged into hell and then received the gift as "paid for".

Either everyone will be punished now or Pit will simply have the "gift" taken away again or he will lose his voice completely or his entire soul will be taken out and the others will probably have their turn afterwards too.
