Forcing themselves out of their dark hole and into the bright, beaming sunshine Duski set forth on an obligatory outing just to soak up a little sun.

They had been feeling pretty low lately, but they knew they had to force themselves out it liturally and metaphorically, even though their bed called to them like a soothing but sinister siren.

Wondering out of the town, things became quieter, calmer, it was easier to unwind and empty their head of worries as their lungs filled with fresh air and they were greeted by the soft, white noise of windy wheat fields.

Time felt non-exastant as they simply glided along as the wind gently pushed them, no need to go, no place to be, just peace.
And for a moment, they felt alone, isolated... but happy.

An utterly jaw-dropping piece by the beautiful, amazing and incredibly sweet  SAUDAX7, who gifted me with this hecking museum worthy painting after going through some difficult depressions lately, not that they needed to do anything in the first place.
