To give you an idea of how crazy this world really is: on the first weekend in October, 2010, the 'number one' movie in America was "The Social Network" - which cost nearly $50 million to make, but only took in $23 million at the box office. Compare that to the third weekend in October, 2010, when "Jackass 3-D" became the nation's 'number one' film - and it only cost $10 million to make, and yet it took in over $50 million during its opening!
That said, I felt it was high time to present my own take on the "Jackass" franchise. In this case, I'd decided to post a colorized version of a parody that appears (in B&W) in my gallery in "The Round House" at http://roundhouse.wulfnet.net/galle.....geViewsIndex=1
Long before the term 'mash-up' became the commonplace norm these days, I'd already taken two motion pictures (from the early 2000s) and combined them to make a very funny comic gag. The two flicks, in this case, were "Jackass: The Movie" (where grown men do stupid and very dangerous stunts) and "Kangaroo Jack" (where an outback 'boomer' ends up wearing a Brooklyn jacket containing $50,000)!
In my parody, 'Jackie Legs' dares 'Oz Kangaroo' to perform an offbeat stunt for a chance at winning the $50K. Needless to say, 'Oz' has reservations about doing this stunt; but as the old saying goes, "Every man (and marsupial) has his price."
Enjoy the full-color comic with the (yet-to-be-completely filled) kangaroo! =OQ|

I haven't heard yet if Part II is going to be released in 3-D. But I did hear that other films are going to be re-released in 3-D - including the entire Disney/Pixar film library (with "Ratatouille" as its next attraction), and all six "Star Wars" movies (starting with "The Phantom Menace").
If I had the time (and patience), I would love to redraw this entire strip in 3-D. But then, I wouldn't have the time to draw (and present) other 'fat furry' and 'furry inflation' works in my "FA" site. But thanks for the positive reinforcement, Fanimal; Every little bit helps!
