Because glasses + magic = Harry Potter, it seems, since you're not the first to draw that particular comparison (sorry to butt in, BTW, but that comparison has always kind of annoyed me).
I actually try to invoke Jade Curtiss when I'm commissioning something badass, hence the lightning, but it never really means much since very few people outside Japan actually played that game.

REALLY AWESOME WORK! I love how the coloring and lighting came out on this! Really badass lighting effect, too! I just love how content his facial expression is! One bit of critiqe is... I dunno, his legs KINDA look a little short. Or maybe that's just me... <_> Anyway, really badass work! Can't wait to see moar! :U
