Otty, dear friend, you'll be ever missed;
By us, you'll always be loved.
Every moment with you has been a gift,
In January you hung up your gloves...
You showed us how to be peaceful,
Demonstrated kindness, compassion and care.
Molded hearts of stone toward kindness,
With the generosity you shared.
You made a great number of friends,
Had a profound effect on their lives,
Brought love and kindness to those without,
Gave some their much needed drive.
Dear Otty, Otts, dear Nico...
Why so soon did you have to go?
Why did that cruel specter take you,
With so many things left to do?
Far too good for this world,
A gem glistening even in dark...
Fondly you'll be remembered,
For the good, where does one start?
Far too young to be taken,
Let alone by such a fate;
But at the end you still showed kindness,
No words of departing hate.
Even in that bitter end,
Your kindness did read'ly show.
The love you had for so many,
Untaken by death's cruel toll.
Rest well and peace to you always,
I wish eternity painless for you;
Many hope yet again to see you,
And I among them, it is surely true.
Happy birthday dear endless friend.
One day our hearts may find mend.
But the scar will be in the shape of your name,
Our wonderful, ever dear friend.
