"Lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep."

Words I try to live by. I've caught myself constantly not living by these words, but I guess that just goes to show I'm not the person I want to be yet.

But I've always liked lions and I've always tried to stand above all the bullshit thrown my way. And I also just really wanted to create something to be the culmination of all my spite and my rage, two emotions that have always been my driving force. I mean, I became an artist almost entirely out of spite. And so, I decided to take all of my horrible Lionsona designs and sort of smelt them together into something that I really like this time around.

Granted, I don't know why the culmination of my spite is a green lion with a pink mane, but it is what it is. Honestly, I mostly just really wanted to work in all my favorite colors. Green, gold, orange, and pink. Which is...quite the color scheme. This is one of those times where I realized just how silly it was looking while coloring it, but I just decided to double down and complete my vision, cause that's who I am.

And, honestly, he looks like a villain...for a kids show. Like, a little kids show. I look like a Care Bear's villain, like I'm plotting to destroy friendship. Which...honestly isn't too far off base from what was the final catalyst for this, lol. But, again, that fits my MO.

Still working on the name, but I like the name 'Rigel Runeslayer'. Which, probably sounds like too cool of a name for what I've created, but that is NOT going to stop me.
