The video originating all these designs was called "the applejack problem" after all, so she was the one i really wanted to ace. Applejack is a flutter pony, which is different from both a breezy AND a pegasus- pegasi have feathered wings, breezies are really tiny and more bug-like, and flutter ponies are tall, have fancy "face bone structures" and specifically have iridescent wings, separate from their body colour. So! AJ is one of these!

As in the video, her main skills are her strength and wildlife knowledge. She can rip a tree straight out of the ground, or figure out what wild plants could make a medicine, y'know, stuff like that. She's super afraid of talking with people since, (wowo suprise-o! just kidding most of these poor children have been bullied) she was bullied! Flutter pones are supposed to be elegant and elf-like in the pony world, so big buff "AppleJack" is considered kind of an outsider at that. So! When coming to the pony magic school, she fakes being like G4 rarity and acts all snooty and holier-than-thou, even though she's actually a country goober. She is already really elegant looking to an average pony anyway, so it's kind of unnecessary, but she's used to being bullied for her looks so she doesn't know.

Also i kind of based her off of a combo applejack/applebloom, because i think it'd be funny if she calls herself applebloom before anyone knows she's actually a hick. Like a kind of "whats your name??" "oh i'm apple-uh. bloom. applebloom. yeah. fancy flowery name!" thing. heheh
