Description from original sketch: Not sure how long ago I drew this, but it was one of the few that got an actual background, so I felt it was worth getting onto here.
'Tis a wolf samurai on the field of battle, perhaps once the fighting has finally died down. If I remember correctly, the banner says "Kakita," referring to his family name. I plan for this to basically be a portrait of my character Ichido Kakita's father, hence the name and the family symbol on the banner.
One thing I do remember, though, is that when I was drawing this I got almost completely finished before I realized I'd forgotten to give him ears! Don't know why they were an afterthought, but I managed to get them in. Overall, I think it looks nice.
