Though she might be better off wearing an Upsilon M23b Combat Armor as it covers more of the upper body, parts of the head & face as well the groin area & offers better protection against kinetic weapons while the lower body is covered in a lighter version of the M23b known as the M23b-J1 variant, yet it is a more armored and is a breathable variant type body armor that offers more comfort as well as much better protection against both kinetic, ballistic & fragmental weapons.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the word "sneaky" implies "stealth." The concept of "stealth" involves not getting into situations where you're getting shot at, because that means they're aware of your presence, thus no longer "sneaky." Equipment intended to be sneaky tends to be very light/minimal so as to preserve the wearer's ability to move quickly and quietly. So, sure, maybe there are a bunch of better armor options, but that's not the intent.

The lesson you should learn here is that if someone wants your advice on the design of their character, they'll ask you. If they haven't asked, your opinion probably isn't welcome, and offering it the way you did is going to make you look rude.
