Reworked the slide, or whatever you want to call it. Though its probably cumbersome or more of a hinderance having the actual peg you use to pull it back to cock it with, i thought it interesting. So for better or worse, its my sucess/mistake, and I rather like it.

Realized at the scale i have the model should i make anything remotely smaller than the tips of those studs in the backgroun Sketchup will not draw it as a solid object but will however draw it was a wire circle or whatever shape you draw it was. wanted to taper the end of the ped down to a rounded point, buuut Google Sketchup wouldn't let me so what you see is what i was 'allowed' to do.
