The Captain Power line of Mattel toys was based on the 1987-1988 sci-fi show called Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. The show was both live action and animated and ran for 22 episodes.
To this day I still have these in box and all even the video tapes to play them.

I had the powerjet, but forget how I got it. Never had the box or the guys, or had any idea where it came from. Probably got it at a garage sale or something. It was just the white jet with the weird engines. it's not obvious but it has an ejector seat mechanism and man that thing had some kick.
